The Experia Trance trend was extensively researched finding links between key drivers in upcoming films such as Avatar 2, new use of technology such as drones within theatre and psychedelic artwork or music. Innovators included technology savvy millennials searching for new and exciting experiences using state of the art science, drugs or events. The three main tribes, Generation High, Spiritu Girls and Dad 2.0 were all searching for multi-sensory visions and craving wanderlust of the natural world.
This trend was split into three phases, a more pastel and feminine phase called 'Ellectro', a highly saturated, mind-expanding phase called 'Purple Haze' and a glitched, digitally influenced phase named 'Pixel Imperfect'.

The colour palette was vivid including iridescent prints and bright hues. For the trend future I considered what a festival might look like based on this trend from the location, line up and attractions. Each main stage is based on a different phase of the trend.
